Composite cement (type V)

Composite cement is obtained by adding pozzolana or fly ash and slag to the common mixture of clinker and gypsum; type V A contains 40% - 64% of clinker, 18 - 30% of slag and 18 - 30% of pozzolana or fly ash; while type V B contains 20% - 39% of clinker, 31 - 50% of slag and 31 - 50% of pozzolana or fly ash.
Cementir Holding produces Composite cements of class 32,5R; such cements, commercialized mostly in sacks, can be employed in every type of building work, both structural and renovation, and combine an easy application with the properties of Pozzolanic and the Blast furnace cements.
